It’s been over a month since AMC released a teaser for their upcoming season Interview with the vampire series, but now, thanks to new core art, we’re taking a little more look at the much-anticipated adaptation of the Anne Rice classic. Last week, the series’ official Twitter account posted three photos with quotes from the series – one from Daniel Molloy, one from Claudia and one from Louis de Points du Lac. All quotes are a little out of context considering the series isn’t expected to arrive until this fall, but it does give fans a taste of what’s to come. You can check them out for yourself below.

The series also stars Eric Bogosian as Daniel Molloy, the investigative journalist who gave the honorary interview, and Billy Bass as the child vampire, Claudia. Previously released teasers for the series indicated the early 20th century setting of at least part of the story and the series, Executive Producer Mark Johnson noted that it was important not only to support the late Rice’s storytelling legacy but to ensure that the characters and story caught their attention. a more modern audience.
“Developing this series carries great pressure and responsibility,” Johnson said. “What Anne Rice has created and what amazes her fans with compels us to take this transformation from book to television with a great deal of responsibility. It is imperative that we do not disappoint her fans however we need to make sure that this story sings these characters out for a modern audience.”
He added, “We hope this series will force fans of Anne Rice to rediscover her work. We also hope that those viewers who have never read Anne Rice’s novel will go to the library, eager to understand what all the fuss is about.”
